Artificial Grass In The Desert
Artificial Grass In The Desert
In the Las Vegas Desert, we have found that it is possible to have
anything that we want. Las Vegas is a
city that was built on providing that things that people want, and supporting
the kinds of industries that you can’t find elsewhere. What this means is that because we live in
the middle of the desert, there was not a lot of opportunity here. As a result, we decided that it will be in
everyone’s best interest for us to loosen regulations on things like gambling,
which would attract people from elsewhere to come to our city and spend time
doing the things that they could not do back at home. Over time, Las Vegas became quite wealthy,
and was given the opportunity four of its residents to not only to get by but
prosper in the middle of the desert. So
when people want to come here for taking the things that Las Vegas was offering
that people began to move to the area in pursuit of opportunity’s that they
could not find in other areas. Not only
was there money to be made there was also opportunity to buy affordable real
estate and create a life for yourself you could not have elsewhere. Yes it is hot in the desert, but that is a
small price to pay for the type of lifestyle that you could have here vs. other
places.
Las Vegas is an attitude, and the people who live in Las Vegas
understand that we live in a region that is not the most hospitable in the
summertime. He gets quite hot here, to
the point where the peak of summer is difficult to be outside for periods of time. The advent of the air conditioning allowed us
to reclaim the life that we wanted to lead, making it so that you can simply go
indoors during the heat and find yourself in a cool environment. The tradeoff behind outside was well worth
the added benefits that we get from living here. Another thing that may be considered a
compromise that Las Vegas has made its own is artificial grass. It is difficult to grow real grass in the
desert, and the only way to accomplish it is to install sprinkler systems that
will ultimately waste a significant amount of water every year just to keep
decorative landscaping alive. This is
not good for the community as a whole, as it wastes our drinking water which is
in short supply during drought conditions.
As a matter of fact, a single square foot of real grass stakes upwards
of 50 gallons of water per year just to stay alive. In Las Vegas we found that artificial grass
does it need any water and actually looks just as good as any real grass
lawn. The ultimate example of taking
control of your own situation and RE making your personal landscape into
whenever you want it to be is probably best summed up with artificial grass in
the desert.
